II. Properties: Nearly colorless and odorless, low-viscosity transparent oily liquid, neutral, refractive index 1.448-1.450, relative density 0.940-0.955. Easily miscible with various solvents, such as ethanol, isopropanol, glycerol, etc. Also soluble in many lipid substances in cosmetics. Stable at low temperatures, remains transparent even below 0°C (freezing point -10°C).

Caprylic/capric triglyceride is colorless, odorless, transparent, and clear, with good stability and storage resistance. It is widely used in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries as a diluent with special effects, emulsifying stabilizer, solubilizer, and essential oil base. It is also used as an antifoaming agent and preservative in food production.
According to the "Hygienic Standard for the Use of Food Additives," it can be used appropriately in emulsified flavors, beverages, ice cream, milk powder, candy, chocolate, chewing gum, and hydrogenated vegetable oil as needed for production.
Caprylic/capric triglyceride is colorless, odorless, and has low viscosity, which does not interfere with the aroma of flavors, making it widely used in emulsified flavors. It can serve as a base material, solvent, diluent, and stabilizer for flavors.
